Representatives of the University of Ioannina participated in the Cardio-Bridge 2026 Cardiology Congress, held on 11–13 September 2026 in Patras/Rio, Greece, as part of the project’s dissemination, visibility and stakeholder engagement activities.
The participation provided the opportunity for discussions and networking with cardiologists, clinicians and other healthcare professionals, helping to communicate MAYA’s objectives, explore clinical perspectives, and identify potential synergies with the cardiovascular care community. In addition, MAYA informational material was made available, supporting awareness-raising around the project’s focus on adolescent and young adult cancer survivors, cardiovascular late effects after cancer treatment, digital health monitoring, smart mirror technologies and AI-enabled personalised support.
