Living labs

Living Labs, awareness and capacity-building

Living Labs are unique testing environments where researchers, companies, organisations, and citizens work together to co-create, test, and validate new solutions in practice.

The MAYA project aims to create Living Labs across several of our partners’ locations to support the testing and validation of innovative screening methods.

The Living Labs will foster awareness and build capacity within different health and care settings to ensure new tools and methods are smoothly integrated into clinical practice.

Built on a participatory, user-centred approach, the Living Labs emphasise testing, co-creation, and continuous feedback. They also build capacity within health and care settings to ensure new tools and methods are smoothly integrated into clinical practice. Guided by the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL) principles, these dynamic environments bring together professionals, AYA cancer survivors, patients, researchers, and other stakeholders to collaboratively tackle practical challenges and refine solutions.
